Being in label hell isn’t stopping Thugger from grinding and continuing to push out new material. Just 10 days after dropping Young Thugga Mane Le Flare, the collab project with Gucci Mane, Young Thug is back at it. This time he’s promoting another collab project, his collaboration with Metro Boomin, Metro Thuggin, by dropping the first video from the tape “The Blanguage.”
Opening with a shot of Thug draping himself in a Rich Gang chain and prominently featuring much of his music’s subject matter, mainly weed, drank and cash, “Blanguage” is basically everything we’ve come to know of Thug compressed into one video. Drawing inspiration from one of Thug’s favorite videos “We Be Steady Mobbin” by Lil Wayne, the clip directed by fellow ATLien Cam Kirk.
With Metro beside him Thugger, and his truly unique sense of style (he’s seen rocking a pair of “boots with the fur”) hardly even raps into the camera, instead choosing to just simply vibe out to the track, especially in the final minute of the clip in, judging by the scenery, a codeine haze.
Now if we can just get that version of “Eww” with the rumored Drake verse.
