New Balance linked up with Beantown retailer The Tannery for some buttery goodness.
Staying true to the namesake of the lifestyle shop, the New Balance 574M The ‘Tannery’ uses some of the finest full grain leather I’ve ever seen on the entire upper. Black and grey suede accents even out the shoe with a shoutout to Boston on the midsole. An all brown shoe might have been a bit too understated, so the suede and white midsole do well to make the 574s stand out a bit without looking too gaudy.
Real deal leather ages very well so expect these to take a beating and still look nice. This might be the first non-dress shoe or boot wearers would need leather conditioner for, which would be money well spent.
