Fieg has crazy visions son. The serial sneaker collaborator kind of came out of left field with these joints. The Ronnie Fieg x Clark Kildare pack seem to be a bit of a hybrid between classic Wallys and vintage runners.
As anyone who follows him knows, no release is complete without buttery soft suede and perforated toeboxes. The salmon toe colorblocking that Kith made famous gets thrown onto this hybrid, along with a vibrant red color. And as is the standard for releases from Ronnie as of late, both round and oval laces will be available. Crepe soles in general are pretty badass, but shaving some of the bulkiness off the sole is a good call since it makes them look like actual runners. Just don’t rock these when it’s rainy because crepe doesn’t stand up well to inclement weather. I learned this the hard way after doing the involuntary splits on a wet floor.
The Kildares are limited to only 500 pairs per colorway, so keep that in mind on release day. They might not last more than a few days on the e-shelves of Kith.
The Ronnie Fieg x Clarks Kildare pack drops April 26th at Kith NYC. Retail is $160 per pair.
