Black 3M? Now we’re talking. Jordan Brand is back on the right track of blending styles together with the newest Air Jordan 5 Lab3 ‘Black.’ Proof positive that the company can still put out a quality product to make up for a few missteps made recently. At first glance the cement print looks to be missing but it’s just more subdued and comes out way as soon as light hits the 5Lab3s. I’m not completely sold on Vac-Tech shenanigans for sneakers on the heel logo and near the eyelets though. These are an improvement on the existing 5Lab3, but I’ll let the young guns fight over these.
The silver pair that dropped creased like crazy on the first wear, so a darker tone should do better in dealing with general wear and tear. I give a thumbs up off of general principle because I’m too old to be doing “the walk” trying to prevent signs of age on my kicks. Still not copping though.
The Air Jordan 5Lab3 ‘Black’ releases May 17th for $225.
