For whatever reason, “Blind THreats” was one of the more slept on records off of ScHoolboy Q’s Oxymoron. Raekwon had a solid, noteworthy guest verse but it was LordQuest’s mellow, yet haunting production that shined brightest. In the clip filmed by The Stashed, he breaks down what went into the record, including the “Las Vegas Tango” sample, Ali putting his two cents to take it to that next level, and how he initially envisioned Nas spitting over the beat instead of Q.
The two have also collaborated previously on the similarly sounding “Figg Get Da Money” from his debut album Setbacks.
