“First the XXL, read about me in the Forbes, that’s a long way from trappin’ in the 4-door Accord…”
Everyone’s young at heart, whether or not they’ve got that common adjective as part of their rap name. Some are just more vocal about it.
“Me OK” sounds like Jeezy is trying to stay up with the rest of the (literally) young, energetic rappers out of Atlanta. Drumma Boy’s beats are good for the soul just like chicken noodle soup, and “Me OK” is still better than your average trap rap, because, hey, Jeezy has already been there and done that. He doesn’t have anything else to prove, other than keeping his fans happy with new music for the summer.
I actually won’t be mad if I hear this all summer, even though I might cringe each time he says “tizight.”
