I imagine the majority of our distinguished audience to have impeccable taste and an appetite for the finer things in life. As such, here’s the first English-dubbed trailer of Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Gods. Die-hards of the series will recognize the title immediately, as the first new installation in the DBZ film cannon since 1996. It was Japan’s first-ever iMax film, and was a commercial success.
AND IT’S COMING TO AMERICAN THEATERS.
Sort of. Dragonballz.com has a running clock for the movie’s release dates, but the brand is still withholding some very important information:
Only a limited amount of theaters in select cities will be showing Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Stay tuned to this website to be the first to know when tickets go on sale in your area. Until then be sure to tell all your friends and start getting excited for a Dragon Ball Z event not before seen in North America!
Definitely something to keep tabs on.
And, yeah. We’ve had access to the movie with English subtitles before, and depending on the dedication you have to your neck-beard, you might actually prefer it that way. But for the rest of us, this is a got damn event, the kind of which we’d happily risk a couple of weeks of sexual attractiveness in the name of dressing up as our favorite DBZ characters and seeing this thing in theaters with other grown men who are also dressed as their favorite DBZ characters.
Dibs on Vegeta. Nobody else matters.
