“I don’t believe in what you do, so I just pray alone”

Like any good recipe, you can usually tell how a song is going to sound by looking at the ingredients. And with top-shelf names like Scotty ATL, Killer Mike, Trouble, DJ Burn One and 5PMG, “Pray Alone” is a predictably great track worth sinking your teeth into. Hard enough to give your car speakers a healthy workout, the beat’s high-octane nature is balanced nicely with I-got-here-by-myself lyrics (“Talm co-sign, I don’t need a co-sign, I been doing fine, I been killing this sh*t.”). It’s simple but through his Southern drawl and urgent intonation, it hits hard.

The track is a prelude to Scion AV Presents: OTR2SJ (short for “On The Road 2 Spaghetti Junction”), due June 30th. The project’s tracklist – featuring a lot of Burn One and 5PMG – is as follows below.

1. The Journey (Prod by DJ Burn One & 5PMG)
2. Pray Alone ft Killa Mike & Trouble (Prod by DJ Burn One & 5PMG)
3. What’s the Formula (Produced by Childish Major)
4. Bad Boy 97 ft Rich The Kid (Produced by Prolyfic)
5. Makin Progess (Prod by DJ Burn One & 5PMG)
6. On the Road 2 Spaghetti Junction (Prod by DJ Burn One & 5PMG)
