Drake is a very well know fan of sports as well a vocal supporter of a plethora of teams and players. He’s also an employee of one NBA team, his hometown Toronto Raptors. As such, there are certain things he can not do under NBA rules, some of them very much a part of his nature as Drake the ultimate fanboy.
Take for instance, Drizzy hopping on stage last week at OVO Fest in T. Dot and proclaiming his desire to see Kevin Durant in a Raptors jersey soon:
“I just want to show one of my brothers something. You know, my brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight and watch us. I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen.”
That simple suggestion reportedly cost the Raptors $25k for violating the NBA’s anti tampering rules.
Maybe Drake will learn his lesson, or, maybe Drake will continue Draking and just show up at Johnny Football’s next preseason game in a KD jersey and University of Kentucky hat with a new pair of LeBron’s on. Be honest, you’re hoping for the latter, don’t lie.
