Producers are quite protective over their craft. They take pride in finding a diamond in the rough to sample and flip it into a Hip-Hop masterpiece. That’s why Pete Rock was so pissed that Lupe Fiasco jacked his “T.R.O.Y.” sample without asking permission. All of the hullabaloo made us think about any other times Pete Rock and other producers have been Sampling Eskimo Twins.
