In what’s become a global celebration, adidas heralds the history of the ZX 8000 while welcoming in a new member to the ZX family, the ZX Flux Weave. In honor of the new arrival, ZX designer Jacques Chassaing and ZX Flux designer Sam Handy telling their own ZX stories, discussing the legacy of the design from way back when in 1989 to now and what the future looks like with the Flux. Overall, the Flux stays true to its predecessor by keeping three key components of the original shoe: the cage, torsion and of course, the three stripes.
The Stripes also pulled in Crooked Tongues co-founder Steve Bryden to give his take on the new model from a collector and long-time wearer’s point of view.
ZX Flux Weave Pack drops March 29th at www.adidas.com/zxflux, where there’s more info on the latest addition and the current range of ZX offerings.
