The shoe that gave way to the 6 Rings and 6-17-23 traveshamockeries is getting retroed not even 8 years after its first release. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground with the Air Jordan Spiz’ike in the sneaker community. It’s either loved or reviled. But I think we can all agree it’s the most well executed hybrid of the trio.
For the re-release of the Spiz’ike, Jordan Brand brought back the first colorway of white/green/red/cement. Mexicanos and Italians rejoice! This and the black/green/red pair were the most coveted during the initial drop so now anyone interested has a lead time of at least a few weeks to save up the dough for them. What’s a little side eye worthy is that Europe gets first crack at these. Come on. The sneakerheads out there love their runners, the f*ck are they going to do with some clunky ass mid ’90s inspired kicks? Resell them to us Yanks, that’s what. Dammit. My call? Play it patient and wait for the US release.
The Air Jordan Spiz’ike OG releases in Europe August 9th and at an undisclosed date worldwide.
