The holiday season is afoot and a lot of celebrities use this period to flex their philanthropic muscles. Be it from the true kindness of their hearts or for that last minute tax write off, it’s still always good to see the less fortunate catch a break. Houston Texans’ receiver Andre Johnson, who isn’t a stranger to giving, did his part this year.
In the name of his foundation, the Andre Johnson Charitable Foundation, he put forth the cash for a 80 second shopping spree for 12 at-risk kids out of the Houston urban areas. The kids got busy yesterday at the Toys ‘R’ Us in town, and Johnson footed the bill. All $19,000 worth.
