The Trayvon Martin trial recently finished its tenth day of testimony, with both the prosecution and the defense trying to decipher whether screams for help heard over a recorded telephone conversation belonged to Martin or that of George Zimmerman, who claimed to have killed Martin in self-defense.
A few other things happened, too, like Judge Debra Nelson ruling that the THC content within Martin’s blood stream–caused by marijuana smoking–at the time of his death is relevant information. But in the case the trial itself doesn’t satisfy news hounds, Android App developer Trade Digital, Inc. has you covered with its new Angry Trayvon game.
So, um, what is Angry Trayvon?
“Trayvon is angry and nobody can stop him from completing his world tour of revenge on the bad guys who terrorize cities everyday.”
“Use a variety of weapons to demolish Trayvon’s attackers in various cities around the world.”
“Fight in historic cities like Brooklyn, NY”
“If you like to attack from far, then purchase the ‘dagger’ as you will be able to throw it at your enemies for the kill.”
But how does one win?
“If you want to dominate the leaderboards across the world, then make sure you collect the money that the bad guys will drop once you kill them to increase your score.”
And Trade Digital, Inc. is just killing those “bad taste” leaderboards right now. It’s a slaughter! Although, the promotional images make Trayvon out to look white and buff–both of which he was not–so the company’s arguing for or against Trayvon’s case is a mystery. Then again, I don’t have an Android phone anymore, so I couldn’t research.
Anyone who wants to play the game to let us know what it’s actually like, drop us a line in the comments section. Angry Trayvon is free and compatible with Android 2.2 and up.
Update: The app is no longer available on Google Play. Way to go, Internet!
