Earlier today I was questioning artists who don’t dig deeper for song concepts and speak on topics that matter. Then, Azad Right sent me his latest record, “Bad Energy,” and all I was left wondering was why every one of my qualms can’t be resolved that quickly.

For the first release from his upcoming biweekly #GetRightTuesdays series, the steadily rising Los Angeles MC breaks down on this detailed Quantic production, opening up about how people must work on shedding their angst if we’re going to prosper as a whole. Essentially, he’s saying if we were all just honest, loyal and trusted one another, we’d be gravy. Instead, we get hung up on the wrong priorities and that causes problems for everyone, which is the truth and a damn shame. But, by bringing up the issue, at least Right helps push a change.

Look for more meaningful tunes when Azad drops his upcoming, For The Hopeful.
