Barry Sanders Returns To Monday Night Football

Barry Sanders will be back with Detroit for the team’s Monday Night Football game but don’t get too excited, Lions fans. The small but mighty former Detroit running back won’t be suiting up to take the field, instead he’ll be in the “doing the intro,” which he confirmed via Twitter before later deleting the message. ESPN had to find a replacement once they decided to part ways with Hank Williams Jr. after Bocephus botched the gig by making headlines when he compared President Obama to Hitler. Reportedly, the country singer is set to be crafting a song to fire back at Fox News and address the situation.

Hall Of Famer Sanders makes an almost perfect stand-in since he quietly held down the Lions for years and the currently undefeated team’s making their first MNF appearance since 2005.
