Caleborate – “El Bandito” (Prod By Drew & 1-O.A.K.)

Towards the middle of Caleborate’s “El Bandito,” the Northern California rapper casually repeats “it’s good.” He’s right. This standout from his aptly titled Hella Good project is nearly ethereal, filling ears with positive poetics and production that’s meant for meditation. Don’t stop on this song though, Caleb’s whole tape is rock solid and can be downloaded here.

King Feat. Da Kidd Half, FleetWood Fred, Roblyn Dee – “285”

ATL traffic can be miserable, but songs like “285” from King will make the bumper to bumper blues bearable. Featuring traditional, slow-burning Southern swangin’ vibes, sultry singing and confident rhymes about pimping perfection, this is the type of rap track that any age group can appreciate and will sound great slapping out of some Kenwoods.
