For B.G., 14 Years Is A Long Time To Not Drop The Soap

Yesterday, B.G. learned his fate for the firearm possession and witness tampering charges which had him potentially facing 40 years. While the outcome wasn’t that bad, the rapper still ended up with 14 years to serve in federal prison after pleading guilty to the charges. B.G. won’t be released from prison until at least 2025 since a federal sentence requires the convicted to serve 85% of their sentence. With that being the case, a Hot Boys reunion album of any form totally went down the drain and we can focus our full attention on protesting for Detox to release.

On the not-yet-free-but-gonna-be side, another Hot Boy, Turk, should be getting released this October after originally being sentenced to 10 years in 2005. As coincidences would have it, he’s locked up with my brother in a federal facility in Arkansas – the same place that once housed T.I. The place is like rap star prison camp.
