Big K.R.I.T. And Rapsody Let Heads Roll On ‘Guillotine Flow’ With Production From 9th Wonder

One might expect a song called “Guillotine Flow” to be a murderous track, featuring fiery energy and some slamming 808s. Yet, Big K.R.I.T.’s latest collaboration with his pal Rapsody is actually pretty chill.

Instead of coming across mean and menacing, the two natural born lyricists use the open space on 9th Wonder’s soulful backdrop to offer flows that come across looser than Stretch Armstrong on a BoFlex, showing off like Zach LaVine on an eight foot rim. Punchlines aside, the whole song is a welcomed reminder lyricism is far from dead. Hopefully, people are listening.
