Big Sean held a monster show last night at L.A.’s House Of Blues as a pre-Grammy event and packed the stage with more guests than a Khaled song. J.Cole, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Travi$ Scott, DJ Mustard, YG, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, hell, even Justin Bieber and more all appeared on stage to either do a song or show support.
Of course, the biggest supporter was Sean’s G.O.O.D. brother Kanye who gave a mini-rant directed at Nike (“I just want to talk to Portland right quick..everybody at the Nike office right quick…I got to say something. Cause I know the execs are saying ‘Nike ain’t scared of Kanye West’…Should Nike be scared of Kanye West? But y’all should thank Nike, because they made me make these songs right here” before launching into “New Slaves”).
But without a doubt, the highlight of this show was Big Sean who ran through hit song after hit song…after hit song until almost an hour later, it starts to come apparent that Sean’s one of rap’s bigger stars in his own right at this point. A smiling Kanye probably said it best: “I knew from the second I heard this n**** that he would be a big ass rapper one day. And I’m so proud of this man.”
