Finally, ‘The Boondocks’ Fourth Season Has A Premiere Date

Ninety days.

That seems like forever-and-a-year to wait until the official premiere of Season 4 of Aaron McGruder’s cultural classic series, The Boondocks. Yet, seeing as how the much-anticipated season was announced in May 2012, 90 calendar days doesn’t seem so bad from a glass-half-full perspective.

The cat was let out the bag on “Adult Swim” who confirmed the return for April 21 at 10:30 p.m. EST.

Now the fun over the next three months comes with guessing which current events the mind of McGruder covers over the next 10-or-so episodes. If there’s a betting line in Vegas already set up, put my next two paychecks on Terio somehow being brought into the mix and Otis Jenkins aka Thugnificent addressing the “turn up” phenomena in some form or fashion. And I still wouldn’t mind Uncle Ruckus being reunited with his long lost brother, civil rights activist Luther Carmichael Shakur X.

Keep the ideas coming. We have to do something to pass the next three months.
