We like instrumentals around here. With so many crappy rappers reiterating insults on the majority of completed rap songs these days, hearing a well-crafted beat can be almost therapeutic. That’s why we’re listening to “Tables” by Chanes for our headaches today, instead of taking Aspirin. Based around an excellent sample slice of organ strikes, then mixed with some heavy-hitting live drums and atmospheric vocal chops, this detail-oriented production is perfect theme music for anything from breaking down dope to knocking out posts on artists that are actually worth your time.
For more music therapy from Chanes, check out his upcoming Renegade Hands beat tape when it drops on January 22 via Insect Records, which is presented by House Shoes and the second installment in his instrumental mixtape series.
