Chris Brown’s Donating Proceeds From His ‘Royalty’ Album Sales To Charity

Chris Brown “luh da kids” so much that he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, had an adorable break baby and then named his latest album after her. Now, the pop star is digging deeper into his heart and helping more children along the way.

Over the Thanksgiving break, Breezy announced he’ll be donating a portion of proceeds from his Royalty album to a children’s hospital specialized in treating kids suffering from asthma and broken bones to more serious ailments like cancer and birth defects. “The holidays are all about giving back,” he said. “So, this Christmas, from now until Christmas, if you order/pre-order the album, $1 of every album sold will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.”

For the cynics and skeptics who think this announcement is a ploy to increase album sales, Chris says no. “Of course everyone wants big record sales. So what is the issue with me giving back to the people who make up who we are? The fans. Not to mention I just gave y’all a mixtape with 34 songs on it for free. #Royalty It’s all love.”

And speaking of Royalty, here’s the tracklist. Knowing the name of the song before you actually hear the song is always a good indicator of whether it’ll suck or not.
