Take that, England. Concepts lifts America’s rallying cry of “No taxation without representation” and puts the idea into ‘Boston Tea Party’ Asics Gel Lyte III. Extra daps are deserved when taking into account the alternating gold/silver trim on the eyelets and logos. I haven’t seen that done often at all, if ever. Really adds some pep to a nationalistic shoe that thumbs its nose at the British.
The Concepts x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Boston Tea Party’ releases May 2. As is the norm when it comes to limited collaboration sneakers without an initial price tag, these should run a pretty penny. But short of hitting north of $200, it’s a moderately decent price to pay for some real gems.
