For an obvious assortment of reasons, the Chicago Bulls were the team of the ’90’s. However, one of the more exciting squads to witness was the 1990-1991 Golden State Warriors. They were headlined by the offensively obese trio of Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin, now immortalized by the nickname “Run TMC.”
To commemorate their ’90-’91 season – one where the Warriors averaged 117 points a game (and gave up 116) – UNDRCRWN has this t-shirt honoring TMC and the squad’s other two leading scorers, Rod Higgins and Sarunas Marciulionis. As fate would have it, the hardwood trinity (who combined for 72.5 points, 15.3 rebounds and 16.8 assists an outing) would only see two seasons together as Richmond would move on to the other Northern Cali team in Sacramento before the start of the 1991-92 season.
Bonus: While we’re were here, why not hop in the time machine known as YouTube and travel to a point when Run TMC never met a scoreboard they couldn’t tax.
