I like to believe DG Yola’s “Live Real, Die Real” video came about like this. Yola and his people were outside on the block enjoying a random summer night blowing it down. The song itself was probably playing out of somebody’s car and from there the idea was born. I mean, because, that’s exactly what the visual looks. Yola, in the hood, with his people, trippin’ out.
Regardless if the song appeals to your taste or not, kudos to buddy revamping his career after several false starts. If these type of hood antics are your cup of tea, scoop the entire Mr. Broke Da Knob tape.
