Without really any mainstream love at all, Dizzy Wright continues to impress hip-hop heads with his next level rhymes and nonstop grind. To keep momentum full steam ahead, the Funk Volume headliner offers two new additions to his catalogue, both of which fans should dig immediately.
The first is a classic West Coast-sounding single that is appropriately called “Spark Up That Flame” and features Dizzy sounding like a young Kurupt. The second is an unexpected three track EP called Brilliant Youth, which features the Las Vegas spitter teaming with LRG to drop insightful sample-based tunes with fellow rhymer Bishop Nehru and producer extraordinaire 9th Wonder.
Considering both these releases are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum and Dizzy caters perfectly to either style, it’s easy to see why he’s not someone you should be sleeping on. And both gives us more reasons, to expect special things from Dizzy Wright down the road.
