Jazmine Sullivan obviously frequents TSS. A few days ago I sent out a digital APB in regards to her whereabouts and look what we have here: new music! Her first album, Fearless, was a personal favorite of mine her and her guest appearances here and there have been money. So you have to forgive me if I began to worry when I hadn’t heard from her in awhile. While I have not the first clue when her sophomore LP is dropping, “Holding You Down (Going In Circles)” will tide me over for the time being.
Blessed with more samples than Sam’s Club leading up to Independence Day, Jazzy takes this Hip-Hop influenced beat and adds her own signature soul and heartbreak. The end result sounds appealing, too. Jazmine, if you read this, let’s keep this up. A new album this fall sounds amazing.[audio:http://uproxx.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/jazmine_sullivan-holding_you_down_going_in_circles.mp3%5D
Jazmine Sullivan – “Holding You Down (Going In Circles)”
If you’re trying to rack your brain wondering where all the samples come from, The Urban Daily did that so thankfully you wouldn’t have to go through that.
