Quiet as kept, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj’s “Love More” is entertaining as hell when out and about amongst the people. And Chris and Sevyn Streeter’s “It Won’t Stop” is, in this guy’s humble opinion, one of the better R&B singles of 2013. But I’m sleep though.
Nonetheless, the embattled crooner releases his first collection of music as a bald and rehabilitated man in his X Files EP, equipped with features from Ludacris, Kid Ink and Busta Rhymes. The release has public relations stunt written all over it, and a good one at at that. As long as press surrounding Brown features his musical abilities and not his infamous sparring prowess, such is a win at the end of the day for the tumultuous life of Christopher Maurice Brown.
On a related note, forget Iyanla Vanzant and whatever court-ordered rehab momentarily. A sit down between Mike Tyson and Brown could result is the most hilarious, yet likely effective method of mentoring for Breezy. If anyone knows about going from young super-talent, to most despised man in America back to beloved pop culture hero, it’s Kid Dynamite taking Kid Dynamite, Jr. under his wing.
