Drake On Being A Part Of The New Big Tymers: “I Didn’t Get The Phone Call About That”

Even though everyone else received the memo that Birdman had replaced Mannie Fresh with Lil Wayne and Drake as the new Big Tymers, it appears that memo never made it to Drizzy’s desk.

In a recent interview with MTV, Drake was asked about whether or not he was excited for the new Big Tymers project that Birdman surprisingly announced back in May. Looking puzzled, Drake responded, “I didn’t get the phone call about that but I’m sure I’ll be involved.”

Apparently, Drake was unaware that he had replaced Mannie. “I watched… I think I heard about it but… I… and then I got people like ‘you’ll never be a Big Tymer! Your sh*t is terrible!’ Just like going off on me.” But Aubrey isn’t against being in the group if that’s what Birdman wants. “I’m not the one saying I’m in the new Big Tymers. I’m down to work on anything! Like Birdman calls me to work on something, I’ma work on it.”

Interestingly enough, just two weeks ago Baby said Drake wasn’t on Rich Gang because he was out of the country and the songs they have together will be featured on their Big Tymers album instead. Make of that what you will.
