Drake made an appearance at Kentucky’s 75-74 Final Four win over Wisconsin last night, as a fan, and the Internet made sure that it flicked its two cents about the matter all over the social webs.
In the above photo, the Internet’s current bromance du jour was captured, as a photographer snapped Drizzy giving former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel what looks to be an oh-so-tender backrub during the tense national semi-final game. We’d like to point out that in the history of bromances, the Manziel-Graham tandem ranks second only to the Dorian-Turk run from Scrubs.
From the Final Four, Manziel will reportedly jet to Oakland to spend two days with the Raiders in anticipation of next month’s NFL Draft.
And the below Vine comes from Palm Beach Post reporter Matt Porter who asked Drake the question that was on every Twitter scourer’s mind last night: “How long have you been a fan of the Wildcats?” To which Drake replies, “Always.”
While Drake is most certainly not at this level of fandom, he does have previous ties to the university. Coach John Calipari invited the Toronto emcee to be a guest coach at the 2009 edition of the program’s Big Blue Madness, the event where the team is officially unveiled to the students and fans before the season. So there was a previous association between Drake and the Wildcats, despite how spurious it might seem and probably is.
But who are we to judge?
