Remember in early June when Drake dropped “0 to 100″ and he rattled off the upcoming releases for October’s Very Own? “We already got spring 2015 poppin’, PND droppin’, Reps-Up P droppin’, Majid Jordin droppin’, OB droppin’ not to mention me droppin’.” What once sounded like typical album talk is slowly shaping into spoken truth for the Young Money star.
Right now, we know what PARTYNEXTDOOR and Majid Jordan have in store and, while we don’t know what’s next for P-Reign or OB Obrien, we know a little bit more about what’s next Drizzy. According to Billboard, the team’s captain already has a name for his next project, titling it Views From The 6.
According to the report, Drake hasn’t actually begun working on the album just yet and he may or may not have time to either considering he and Lil Wayne are slated to begin their Drake Vs. Lil Wayne tour in early August. But if the music matches his most recent output from 2014, expect his fifth solo project to help keep his name near the top of the short list of rap’s current rulers.
Drake’s last release was 2013’s Nothing Was The Same, which ended up going platinum.
