Drake’s winning weekend continues on. First, we get an unexpected mixtape and now a trailer hits the web for a music documentary, Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage, which will center around Canada’s great rap ambassador returning home to perform for the first time way back in March 2009.

J. Prince and Jas Prince are serving as executive producers so both eyebrows should be raised as to whether this a body of work comes authorized by Drake, OVO, YMBCMB, etc. or if it’s a strong-arm tactic by the Princes as the son continues to do battle with Cash Money in court over monies owed. While Jas has always loomed in the background of Drake’s career, it’s kind of odd to see J. Prince stepping front and center recently with this trailer and yesterday’s ominous warning to potential Drake adversaries. Who knows what plays are being made behind the scenes or if they’re any at all.

The actual footage itself includes cuts from the So Far Gone and Comeback Season eras so early fans of Drizzy should dig this.
