Watch D.R.A.M.’s New Videos For ‘2$’ And ‘Caretaker (Extended)’ With SZA

On the heels of the release of the GAHDAMN! EP, the singer-songwriter, rapper and producer D.R.A.M. just unleashed his latest video for the SZA-featuring “Caretaker.” The clip sees the Virginia native and TDE singer share an intimate three and a half minutes on stage, enacting the lovelorn lyrics (“I’ve been bad/I had to do what I had to do/But you know I still love you”) as the camera works in frequent crowd shots that juxtapose with the two artists’ closeness. The mood’s all set by Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment’s soulful instrumentation, as well as the dark and calming lighting.

“Caretaker” is a stark opposite to the video for “2$,” featuring Mass, which released several weeks ago. The video for the #1EPIC track paints the lyrics in starkly realistic terms, tracing the journey of a pair of dollar bills through a Virginia community. Both clips come directed by Nathan R. Smith. Enjoy both videos, and give GAHDAMN! a listen here.
