In a Las Vegas court today, Floyd Mayweather Jr. plead guilty in a domestic violence case, accepting a reduced sentence. In exchange for his plea, Mayweather will serve 90 days in jail and must pay a $2,500 fine and complete 100 hours of community service. Reportedly, the 34-year-old boxer insists the September 2010 incident was all just a misunderstanding. His girlfriend went in to hug him, but he heard a bell ring so he decked her while she wasn’t looking. According to Floyd, that made all punches fair game.

If he has to start his time in jail any time soon, you can throw out any fight with Manny happening before early 2012. Usually, it’s pretty cool for people to make rape jokes when celebrities go to jail. But I have a slight feeling that nobody will be approaching Money Mayweather with any tomfoolery and chicanery.
