HBO released the second official trailer for Game of Thrones season 4 prior to episode 5 of True Detective and spoiler alert: everyone is very, very sad. Arya is reciting the names of everyone in Westeros she wants to kill, Cersei is assuring someone that their joy will turn to ashes in their mouth and Jon Snow is basically a few whiskers away from just being Grumpy Cat.

Even the normally jolly Tyrion Lannister seems absolutely miserable. If the five o’clock shadow isn’t a dead giveaway then “if you want justice, you’ve come to the wrong place,” certainly is.

Why is everyone so bummed? *Re-watches end of season three* Oh ok, that makes sense.

Thankfully the more upset the denizens of Westeros appear, the cooler this show looks. If these trailers are any indication we’ll be getting at least one mano-a-mano gladiator-esque fight, an all out war at the Wall and dragons, sweet, sweet dragons. Dany’s little monsters are close to all grown up.

That’s not even to mention new character and challenger to the resident Westerosi badass title, Oberyn Martell (who gets the short shrift in this new trailer), or the wight/white walker at the end.

Game of Thrones comes back Sunday, April 6 at 9.m. ET on HBO. Whisper the names of all the enemies you must kill every night until then.

ICYMI, here’s the previous trailer – a whopping 15 minute one! – that gives a glimpse of the Purple Wedding, growing dragons and Tyrion in danger.
