The Grammys are using the whole day from early this morning until 8pm to roll out the full list of nominees. Since nobody’s staying around for all that, here are the names of nominees for “Best Rap Album”: Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, ScHoolBoy Q’s OxyMoron, Common’s Nobody Smiling, and Childish Gambino’s Because The Internet.

We may or may not come through and update with the rest of the categories as they become available. Hey, it’s Friday for us, too, you know.

For now, we’ll leave the floor open for the discussion regarding who got shafted by not even being nominated? Who’s going to win? Who’s going to be this year’s Kendrick Lamar? Or should we all just take Drake’s Hood Grammys, find a corporate sponsor and create a small, offshoot awards show?

YG’s already voiced his displeasure and I’m inclined to agree.

The actual awards show will air on Sunday, February 8th.
