New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert must be a happy man. After a long road back from injury, he started his first game with a win in London and this week released his player exclusive sneaker, the adidas Top Ten 2000 “2WE 1NE.” Long time TSS supporter DJ Neil Armstrong sent word he was spinning at the release so we came to sneakerhead haven Packer Shoes in New Jersey to check it out.
In addition to adidas ambassador Armstrong rocking the event put out a mini-mix with the New York Knicks guard called I’m Backkkk. Shumpert, the latest NBA player to try his hand in Hip-Hop recently released a mixtape called The #Post90s. For now bringing some of the ’90s back to a franchise that thrived in that era might be what the Knicks need in the second half of the NBA season.
