Isaiah Thomas 2.0 Scores 38 Points, Still Not Enough To Help Kings Top Thunder

Since he entered the league as the last pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, Isaiah Thomas has been getting bucket after bucket for the Sacramento Kings. Even as his franchise went through a major bout of uncertainty, even as he was easily written off for his diminutive height, the 5’9” Thomas has seen his scoring average take a raise, from 11.5 to 13.9 to an incredible 19.5 points per game (on a solid .459 shooting) in this, his third professional season.

Nights like Sunday’s – which saw Thomas drop a career-high 38 against Oklahoma City, through a nice variety of quick cuts and mid-to-outside-ranged shots – will only serve to add to the former Washington Huskies’ career.

Who knows? Give it a year and maybe we’ll be talking about 2.0 earning an All-Star spot next to Boogie.
