My goodness. We’re only two months into the new year and 2016 rap f*ckery already appears to be nearing its peak. As if 50 Cent doesn’t already have enough beef on his plate, here comes Jay Electronica threatening him with a side order of “these hands.”
Apparently, the album-less Electronica was on one long Periscope session with fans Friday night decided to throw your boy Fif under the bus when he was asked whether or not he thought the Queen MC had talent. “50 Cent, at once, he was a good rapper,” Jay starts out in the clip posted online. “Right now, he got the potential to be a good rapper, but he’s on some sucka sh*t. We will smack 50 Cent’s f**kin’ eyeballs loose out his scalp.”
Golly. Where the hell did that come from? But if we’ve learned anything from Jay Electronica’s past rants and ramblings it’s Hennything can happen with that guy. Just as it did in 2012.
And if we’ve learned anything from 50 Cent it’s he’s seldom with the sh*ts. So an onslaught of social media slander should be imminent.
The 39-year-old rapper also had thoughts on Kendrick Lamar and Gunplay’s “Cartoons and Cereal,” saying that even though he dug the record, “we don’t know what n**** talking about.” A fan used the comments as opportunity to slander K.Dot, which Elec didn’t allow. “Don’t say fuck Kendrick, that’s still our brother […] Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me.” Oh brother.
