Jeezy ‘Seen It All’ Tour Documentary Takes Fans Into His Live Show

Managing Hip-Hop Editor

Giving credit where it’s due, Jeezy’s kept the content in his weekly installments varied enough to make tuning in worthwhile. The latest Sunday Service installment relies on video as the medium, sharing a look into his Seen It All tour. Mr. 17.5 talks on song selection, sequencing and stepping up his stage show so that it tells a story. “It’s like a build-up,” Jeezy said. “You kinda get tooken [sic] on through this journey where you start at one point, if you really listen to ‘Quarter Block,’ it’s actually telling you how it all started…that’s the beginning of it. that’s when my eyes opened. It was “OK, I can do this shit.” Then it walks you to the end, which was ‘Seen It All’ because I seen all this shit. All these albums and all these mixtapes, this is the shit that I seen.”

Part of that understanding how to rock a stage comes across as well as he discusses relying on fans’ energy when it comes to his old songs to turn the show up way past 10. For proof of that, look no further than a brief instance at the six-minute mark where crowd goes stupid when “Spaceships On Bankhead” comes on. It’s the type of energy that has me thinking about how I need to add a Jeezy show to my rap bucket list. It’s all lead into Jeezy’s upcoming Church In These Streets tour, kicking off in NYC a day before the album’s November 13th release. Check the dates below and grab tickets here.
