There’s one less villain in the world of rap today. On Friday, October 25, James Rosemond, better known as “Jimmy Henchman” to the music world, was sentenced to life in prison. In June 2012, Rosemond was found guilty of cocaine trafficking, an operation that reportedly yield $11 million a year and the court asserted that music was a cover-up for the crime.
Rosemond still also faces charges for his involvement with the murder of a 50 Cent associate reportedly stemming from a feud between Rosemond, 50 Cent and Chris Lighty. So while he may be behind bars this won’t be the last time we hear Henchman’s name on the crime and punishment circuit.
