Joey BadA$$ – “20 Miles” (Unreleased)

New York’s BadA$$ continues making headlines for all the right reasons. Not only was he just named Creative Director of Ecko Unltd, he also released the previously unheard freestyle “20 Miles,” which was recorded when he was only 15 years old. It was made when he was going by the moniker JayOhVee and originates from a mixtape called New Kid On The Block that never saw the light of day. The record samples Mos Def’s “Umi Says,” just like Kendrick’s “The Heart Pt 1” did a few years ago.

The bottom line, Joey Bada$$ has improved quite a bit over the last couple years, but he still had quite the head start over most cats even when he was just starting out. The road just keeps looking brighter and brighter from here on out.
