Kanye talks his shit again in his new, hilarious designer voice to Zane Lowe. Part 4 unfortunately marks the end of BBC’s series of interviews with West. Back to interviews featuring canned responses from today’s banal rapper-types.
Young Tidduh’s rants about his fashion struggles and hypebeast posts seem first-world petty yet his indignation creates great e-theater. This comes from a former Kanye fan long set off by his persona but, eh, grudges can’t last forever with all these gems laying about.
So how would you rank each segment? I need to let this latest installment sink in first. However, as far as quotes go, part two had the best gem.
“[Ari Emanuel] goes and tells me about the way it works. And what he said is ‘you are a celebrity. So basically what’s going to happen here is there’s product here. And this is where you end up, right here. And if you communicate the product you can make money off the product.’ [Because] look at Gaga, she’s the Creative Director of Polaroid. I like some of the Gaga songs. What the FUCK does she know about cameras?!?! [designer stare]”
That sleeper had me laughing a little too hard.
