In some secret lair behind Niagra Falls, Kanye West works feverishly on completing his untitled Yeezus follow-up.

And, look, regardless of my thoughts (or Bans’) on Kanye’s last album and his music recently, no one in their right mind will deny the guy isn’t one of the biggest megastars in the world (with one adorable daughter). Per reports, Kanye has been attempting to track down none other than Sir Paul McCartney to land as a feature on his new album.

How all this came about was with Kim’s feistier half backstage at McCartney’s recent concert at Dodgers Stadium. “Kanye and Paul have known each other for a long time but became more friendly recently,” the source said. “There’s every chance they’ll head into the studio together.”

Being that it’s Kanye – who has been known to pack a surprise or six on his albums – laughing this off another run-of-the-mill rumor drummed up by some random concession stand worker isn’t ideal. Last year, McCartney considered adding a rapper on his song “Appreciate.” He ultimately didn’t, but when asked who he considered, he answered simply, “Oh, Jay Z, Kanye.”

That’s power.
