There are three things you can be sure of in this world: Death, taxes, and Katt Williams assaulting people in hilarious ways and getting arrested for his transgressions. Katt’s latest incident took place late Sunday night and involves a pair of goggles and a punch, and ended with the comedian “lying on the ground with his hands behind his back as though he was ready to go to jail.”
Just hours after calling Kevin Hart a “puppet,” in Atlanta, Katt made his way to Gainsville, GA where police report that the diminutive comic allegedly threw a pair of goggles at a store clerk, hopped behind the counter, and proceeded to punch the man at least once before the clerk alerted the police. It’s unknown what started the argument between the two, but Williams reportedly went to the front of the store and simply laid down and waited for police to come arrest him. Eventually he was charged with misdemeanor battery and held on $5,000 bail.
This is just one of many of Katt’s bizarre arrests, and nowhere close to the most bizarre, all while he still awaits trial for an incident with paparazzi involving Suge Knight from 2014. Williams may want to lay low for a while, if only to keep himself out of trouble.
