As far as songs that play twice every hour on the radio, “Dark Horse” is one of the better ones. Okay, obviously I’m only saying that because Juicy J is on there, but Katy Perry does have some decent cuts in her catalog.
Regardless of my admitted bias, what could make “Dark Horse” better? Not a painfully weird and tacky music video set in Memphis, Egypt, but an “urban” remix that includes another verse by the original Juiceman. The young child announcing the remix and adding some vocals to J’s lines is an interesting touch, too. J and K are for the kids!
