It appears that Kim Kardashian is now in charge of A&R and promo for Kanye West’s musical career. Mrs. West made an announcement late Thursday night that Kanye’s weekly was making a return. According to Kim, Yeezy plans to drop “New music!!!! #EveryFriday #Swish #RealFriends.”

Although she didn’t technically use the term “G.O.O.D. Friday,” that’s the first thing that’s going to come to mind for most, especially because Kim did mention “Friends.” The G.O.O.D. Friday series ran for a few months strong in 2010 leading up to the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Now, Yeezy’s trying to regain his footing musically after numerous starts and stops between So Help Me God, which was originally supposed to be his next album’s title before he scrapped the entire thing, and Swish, the current title of his new body of work that will be his seventh solo, studio LP. In mid-December, West tweeted: “no offense to anyone… I’m asking everyone DON’T ASK ME FOR ANYTHING TILL AFTER I’M FINISHED WITH MY ALBUM.”

Kanye’s most recent release was the New Year’s track “Facts.”

Update: Kanye comes with not one but new songs titled “Real Friends” and “No More Parties In L.A.” Listen to both tracks here.
