After being convicted of tax evasion back in May of this year, Lauryn Hill is now officially an inmate.
According to TMZ, Lauryn was booked at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut at 11:15 Monday morning. The 38-year-old artist will remain at the “minimum security type facility” for three months, where she will serve out her sentence in “barracks type” housing among the prison’s general population. No isolation for Ms. Hill.
As you may recall, the ex-Fugees member pled guilty last June for failing to pay taxes on over $1.5 million she earned between 2005 and 2007.
