With the NBA offseason comes free agency and one of the not-so-sublte moves seems to be Ray Allen switching his allegiance from the Celtics to their Eastern Conference foe, the Heat. And in the new buddy-buddy system of works in the league, LeBron James made it known via Twitter that he welcomes the idea of playing with Allen.
While watching the Draft my son Bryce ask “Is Ray Allen gonna play for the Heat”. I said “I don’t know, I hope so”.

If you remember the end of Game 7 of the ECF, Ray Allen was basically the only Celtic who stayed around and hugged every Heat player. Or as Bill Simmons put it, Allen “was doing everything short of handing out his résumé.”
